By using the website and/or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, accept, and are bound by our terms and conditions. You also confirm that you have read and approved our handling of personal data; for more information, please see our privacy policy

By making a purchase with Mateus, you guarantee that you are at least 18 years old or have the approval of your legal guardian.

Mateus is responsible for ensuring that the personal data provided in connection with purchases are handled in accordance with the Personal Data Act and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By accepting the purchase agreement or registering an account with Mateus, you consent to the storage of your information for processing your order and completing the purchase, facilitating future purchases, enabling updates on your order status, and for sending emails or other direct marketing communications from Mateus or through any of Mateus' service providers that provide services/systems for communications.

As a customer, you have the right to access, modify, or request the deletion of the stored data. You can also withdraw your consent to receive communications at any time. If you wish to opt out of newsletters, you can do so by changing your preferences at the bottom of one of Mateus' newsletters. Read more about our privacy policy here.

We reserve the right to make changes to the terms and conditions at any time. Changes to the terms will be published online on the website. The amended terms are considered accepted in connection with placing an order or visiting the website.

Events beyond Mateus' control, which could not have been foreseen, shall be considered force majeure. This means that Mateus is released from its obligations under the entered agreement. Examples of such events include government actions, newly introduced or amended legislation, conflicts, embargoes, fire or flood, sabotage, accidents, war, natural disasters, strikes, or a lack of delivery from subcontractors. Force majeure also includes government decisions that adversely affect the market and products, such as restrictions, warnings, prohibitions, etc.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

You are responsible for providing accurate information when placing your order. Please ensure that your name is visible on your mailbox, door or in the stairwell if you have chosen delivery to your mailbox or home delivery. 

We are responsible for the delivery to you in accordance with the Distance Selling Act (2005:59). However, if you choose a delivery service where your order is left outside your door or in your mailbox, you are responsible for the package once the carrier/driver has delivered it. 

Shipping costs are presented before you confirm the purchase. 

It's important to consider that the presented delivery times are estimates, and delays may occur with us and our shipping partners. If a delivery is delayed or cannot be sent due to inventory status or other reasons, the customer will be informed as soon as possible after placing the order. The customer may then cancel and/or be refunded at no extra cost.

Home delivery is available to customers in several cities in Sweden, including Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö. Your postal code determines if you can choose this option. Delivery takes place at the specified address from afternoon to 10 PM.

When your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive an SMS from Budbee with a tracking link and additional information about your delivery. The package is placed outside your door, and you need to actively approve if you want to receive the package in person. You can do this via the SMS notification from Budbee or in the Budbee app. If the package is left outside your door, you are responsible for your order after Budbee has delivered it. This applies in case of theft, damage, or if the package is misplaced.

Home delivery to customers in multiple countries, including Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy and France. No signature is required but can be added. 

The shipment is delivered to a selected service point. You will receive an SMS notification when your package is ready to be picked up. 

For unclaimed packages or failed deliveries, Mateus charges a fee of 250 SEK/ 250 NOK / € 25. For precise information on how long your package will be held at the postal agent, please check with selected carrier. 

When you have placed your order, an email will be sent to the email address you provided during your purchase, confirming that we have received your order. This order confirmation also serves as your receipt and may be useful to keep in case of any contact with our customer service.

If a product is defective, please contact customercare@mateuscollection.com within 5 business days. Provide your order number and send us a picture of the defective product. Mateus is responsible for goods that are damaged or lost during delivery to you. Claims for transport damages should be made within a reasonable time. Therefore, it is important to check that the package is not damaged during receipt of the shipment.

PAYMENT & PURCHASE TERMS

Mateus accepts a variety of payment methods, including some major credit cards and popular payment providers like Klarna. All this information will be fully detailed at checkout.

All prices at Mateus include VAT. Prices do not include any separate payment and shipping fees as specified. Mateuscollection.com reserves the right to continuously change prices for all items in our range, both upward and downward. Mateus reserves the right to sell out and correct any errors in images, product descriptions, technical specifications, and incorrect prices, as well as price adjustments.

Mateus has the right to correct such errors and update the information at any time. If an incorrect price is listed for a product, Mateus will notify the customer and await their approval or cancel the order. We reserve the right for potentially incorrect stock levels. The price of the products is what applies on the date you place your order.

When purchasing from Mateus, you have a 30-day return policy from the day you received your order. The condition is that the item is returned in the same condition as Mateus sent it, i.e., in its original packaging and unused. The item is in the customer's possession until we receive the return, so it is important that the item is not damaged during shipping. The customer is responsible for any damages during transportation.

Please note that if your order includes a gift, it must also be returned along with the remaining products if you choose to cancel your order. 

In the event of a canceled purchase, the purchaser will receive a refund within 30 days from the day Mateus received the notification of a complaint or cancellation. The refund will be processed in the same manner as the original payment.

This website uses cookies. A cookie is a small text file stored on your computer that, among other things, informs us about your username with us and whether you are a new or returning visitor to the store.

When you shop with us, you are moved to an encrypted secure page where the payment takes place. No account information or personal data is stored by us. Card information is transmitted via SSL encryption and Klarna - these are not stored.
