With its soft and charming expression, this small plate evokes a sense of joy that brings warmth to your table. The design of Mateus Oyster collection is defined by undulating edges that draw inspiration from ocean waves, mussels and oysters. Its small size makes it ideal to serve breakfast, starters or dessert. Each plate is formed, painted and glazed by hand in Portugal, where each brushstroke leaves its own personal imprint. Create the table you love by mixing the different colours and set the table with pieces from Mateus other collections, such as Basic and MSY.

Deep plates are suitable as soup plates or pasta plates, but are also perfect for eating a hot stew out of.

This size is called the classic plate but can just as well be used as a smaller serving dish.

Test

• All our products are handmade and hand-painted, which may result in color variations, making each plate unique.

• The products are dishwasher, microwave, and freezer safe (not oven safe as the ceramics may crack).

• Do not place the product on damp surfaces or soak it as clay is a natural material that can absorb moisture.

• We use environmentally friendly packaging and choose delivery options with the least environmental impact.

• To avoid black marks on ceramics from stainless steel cutlery, use
rinse or dishwasher aid in the dishwasher. If marks occur, gently rub
with a cleaning agent such as Allrengöring.

• All Mateus products meets international safety standards and are cadmium and lead free.
